Premier 7’s Division 3 are through to the Semi-Finals

The Mighty Division 3 Premier 7’s Windsor Wombat team continued their winning run with a close but strong win against the Beenleigh Mudcrabs in last Sunday’s quarter finals played at Mermaid Beach.  The Fours (Col, Millsie, God and Ken) led all the way with a comprehensive 26 to 10 win.  In the pairs, Tiger and Coach had a tight tussle with the opposition all day but just couldn’t quite bridge the gap and went down 14 to 18.  The singles game was a tight game with some quality bowls played all day.  Clint held his nerve and finished the stronger, wrapping up a great win (31 to 26) giving the Wombats the quarter final win, 2 rinks to 1.  Well done Wombats – you have done the Club proud.  Will see you next Sunday at Mermaid Beach for the semis.  Good bowling next Sunday.
