NEILSENS SUNDAY STATE OF ORIGIN BOWLS

It was great to see so many people turn out for Neilsens Sunday Bowls on the 23rd April 2017.  The day incorporated the traditional State of Origin, Qld V The Rest bowls challenge, as well as remembering our ANZAC mates, friends and relatives.  The day started with our normal gourmet breakfast which everyone enjoys and then honoured our fallen relatives and friends. Then the games begun with our normal spirited (some more than others) bowls.

We even had a player from Robyn’s home town of Hobart lol (see picture). Winners on the day were “The Rest of the World”.  Obviously there may have been some bias in the scorer who, with some creative accounting, came up with a winning score of plus 75 to minus 99; work that one out statisticians.

Once again thanks to the band of helpers who turn out each month to make the day a great success.  See ya next month in your disco gear.
