FLANNO FEVER BOWLS (NEILSEN’S SUNDAY BOWLS)

With the chilly Brissie weather setting in, “Flanno Fever” Neilsen’s Sunday Bowls was a great success with a sensational 16 teams competing.  There were lots of ‘friendly rivalries’ with some old scores to settle from previous encounters and of course, some great bowls.

After everyone had finished whopping down a delicious breakfast and then, the now traditional photo shoot, the bowlers got down to business.  Winners on the day were the popular duo of Roy and Shirley McCallum.  Runners up were Debbie Litzow and Les Duvey (Debbie must have bowled well).  Third place went to the Keith Mills and Amy Evans.
